NOTICE OF BOARD OF EDUCATION VACANCY

The Barnesville Exempted Village School District Board of Education is accepting applications to fill the unexpired term of Tammy Wells, who resigned on September 18, 2026.

The person appointed will serve through December 31, 2027. An election will be held in 2027 to fill the remaining two years of the term, through December 31, 2029.

Interested individuals should submit a letter of interest and resume to the Barnesville EVSD Central Office, 210 West Church Street, Barnesville, Ohio 43713, by noon on Friday, October 9, 2026.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, reside in the school district, and be registered voters. The board anticipates conducting interviews during the week of October 11, 2026, if needed.
