Welcome from the Home of the Shamrocks and welcome to another exciting year of Athletics!

First, I would like to say that I am honored to serve as the Athletic Director for Barnesville Schools. I am very fortunate to be a member of this great school district that shows such passion and dedication to our students. It is a true honor to welcome you to an environment that cultivates academic and athletic excellence, discipline and sportsmanship.

Barnesville is a proud member of the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) and offers boys and girls athletic programs in 13 Varsity and Junior Varsity sports.

I work with an outstanding administrative team and athletic department, from the office to the field. We have passionate coaches who care and have the knowledge and expertise to coach our student-athletes.

Our coaches and I are always happy to talk with you about our programs and answer any questions you may have. Please don’t hesitate to contact myself and our coaches.

OVAC Mission Statement

The OVAC Varsity Board, a student lead organization within the OVAC, has developed the following mission statement to promote Sportsmanship within the conference.

OVAC Mission Statement: "The Ohio Valley Athletic Conference takes great pride in displaying outstanding sportsmanship among its athletes, coaches, administrators, officials, parents, and fans. It is the goal of the conference to respect the game, to build integrity, and to develop future leaders."
